Marvin L. Caldwell

Marvin Lee Caldwell, 49, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025. He was born in Champaign on October 22, 1976, the son of John and Edwina Caldwell, they survive.

He is also survived by his children, Isiah James Caldwell and Isabella Dale Caldwell; partner, Kim Busboom; siblings, Raymond Lamar Caldwell and Amanda Caldwell Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Marvin was a man of many interests. He enjoyed cooking as well as basketball and football, often spending his free time watching games or playing with friends. Marvin also had a knack for working on cars and fixing things. When he wasn't busy with these activities, he enjoyed relaxing and spending time with family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center’s Lux Chapel, 1551 E. Grove Ave. Rantoul, IL 61866. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be held before the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
