Martha Stout

Perrysville, Ind. - Martha Stout, 87, of Perrysville, passed away at 11:10 p.m. EDT Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

She was born March 13, 1930 in Perrysville, Indiana the daughter of the late Clarence and Maxine (Perry) Wilson.

Martha first married Bill Pickering. She later married James E. "Bud" Stout on July 18, 1980 in Perrysville, Indiana. He preceded her n death on November 16, 2011.

Survivors include her two daughters, Pam Pickering and LuAnn (Steve) Loveall both of Virginia; stepson, Michael (Donna Jo) Stout of Perrysville, Indiana; 2 grandchildren, and one brother, Dr. Everett Wilson of Huntsville, Texas.

Martha worked at General Electric in Danville for 41 years. She also operated a beauty shop in her home in Perrysville. Martha was a 1948 graduate of Perrysville High School. She was a member of the Perrysville American Legion Auxiliary Unit 350. Martha enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino to play the slot machines and spending the winters in Florida.

Graveside services and burial: 2 p.m. EDT Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Lower Mound Cemetery north of Perrysville, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor Duane Mycroft. There will be no visitation. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana in charge of arrangements.
