Martha M. Smith

Martha M. Smith 80 of Danville passed away at 10:04 P.M.Tuesday December 27, 2005 at Provena USMC Hospital. She was born August 20, 1925 in Chicago, the daughter of William and Rose Roush Edge. She married Raymond Vanduyn on April 22, 1946 in Chicago he preceded her in 1979 and later married Earl Smith on July 4, 1981 he preceded her in 1995. Survivors include one son Jim (Liz) Vanduyn of Danville, a daughter Candace (Bob) Martin, five grandchildren; Jay, Darren and Kelli Vanduyn, Julie and Robin Martin. Martha had worked as a meat cutter at the former Mels IGA in Danville. She was a member of Northland Christian Church and enjoyed Crafts, Knitting and crocheting. Martha also liked to spend time with her family. A private family burial will be held at Oakhill Cemetery. Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center in charge of arrangements.
