Martha Lee Moore

Newport, Ind. - Martha Lee Moore, 82, of Covington and formerly of Newport, Indiana, passed away at 5:45 p.m. EDT Thursday, June 18, 2015 at The Waters of Covington. She was born March 22, 1933 in Vermillion County, Indiana the daughter of the late William M. and Mary Alice Hutchins Moore. Survivors include one sister, Vera(Robert)Naylor of Newport, Indiana and several nieces and nephews. Martha was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Ann Broady and two brothers, Eddie and Bill Moore. Martha was a member of the Newport Friends Church. She was a 1951 graduate of Newport High School. Martha enjoyed reading and crocheting. Funeral services: 3 p.m. EDT Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor Ramona Trover; Burial: Hopewell Cemetery in Quaker, Indiana; Visitation: 1 p.m. EDT Tuesday, June 23, 2015 until time of services at the funeral home.
