Martha Hernandez

Danville- Martha Hernandez, 61, of Danville, Illinois passed away the morning of Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Martha was born to Helen Crawley on September 5, 1963, in Lafayette, Indiana. She married Juan Carlos Hernandez on November 4, 2012 in Rossville, Illinois

She is survived by her husband, Juan Carlos; four children, Juanita Medrano, Stacy (Cesar) de la Rosa, Rodrigo Medrano Jr, and Rico Flowers; 12 grandchildren; and a sister, Angie Fields.

Martha will join in heaven her mother, Helen Crawley and her cousin and best friend, Lisa Montalvo.

Martha worked at Walmart for 15 years and loved her coworkers. She built her home with her husband; Juan Carlos and her weekends were for her friends. Martha was proud of her home, and the work she and Juan Carlos put in to maintaining it. She liked to admire the things around her but had an especially soft spot for sunflowers and owls.

Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL, is honored to be caring for the family. There will be no services at this time.
