Martha Haas

Martha Haas, 89, of Danville, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013. She was born February 15, 1923, in Danville, IL to William J. and Freda (Schramm) Haas. A Celebration of Martha's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home, Danville. A visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Martha was a lifelong member of First Assembly of God Church. She taught Sunday school class and the Missionette Program. Martha lovingly cared for and played with 14 nieces and nephews; 24 great nieces and nephews; 32 great great nieces and nephews and 5 great great great nieces and nephews Martha is also survived by one brother, Fred (Marilyn) Haas; one sister, Bertha Haas; and one sister-in-law, Uva Haas. She was preceded in death by one half sister, Mabel Tellier; brothers and sisters, Minnie Haas, Clara (Ray) Traylor; Frankie Haas, Charlie Haas, Edna (George) Jenkins and Anna Haas.
