Martha 'Faye' England

Champaign - Martha "Faye" England, 78, formerly of Seymour, Illinois, entered life eternal Wednesday, December 21, 2016. She was born in Hawesville, Hancock County, Kentucky on August 8, 1938 to the late H. Melba and V. Evelyn (Haycraft) Wheatley. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in White Heath, Illinois. She was the Bookkeeper for Ed England Masonry and partnered with her husband in beginning the business. After his passing she worked at First Christian Church in Champaign, Illinois retiring after 22 years. She was civic minded and served for many years as an election judge. She was elected and served as Scott County Township Supervisor in the early 1990's. But above all God and family was most important in her life. Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Tom England in 1991. Surviving are three children Melva (Mark Graham) England of Geneseo, Illinois; Mitchel (Steve) Keepes-England of Champaign, Illinois; and Marla (Scott) England-Sullivan of Prior Lake, Minnesota; six grandchildren Bryce Graham, Jacklyn England, Catherine (Justin) Schwartz, Christian, Caitlyn, and Caelen England-Sullivan; three great-grandchildren Riley and Regan Schwartz, and Sofie Diebold; six brothers and brother-in-laws Norman (Nancy) Wheatley, Kenneth (Janice) Wheatley, Steven (Tina) Wheatley, Cecil England, Ralph (Wilma) England, Paul (Pam) England; and one sister and two sister-in-laws Lois Chapman, Mary (Curtis) England, and Dorothy (Danny) Bratcher; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 11am on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Sunset's Champaign-Urbana Chapel at 710 N. Neil St. in Champaign. Reverend Melva England and Reverend Mark Graham will officiate. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens. Faye's family will be greeting friends & family on Tuesday from 10am until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Faye's memory to White Heath United Methodist Church.
