Martha Eloise Boyd

DANVILLE - Martha Eloise Boyd, 89, formerly of Georgetown, passed away at 6:32pm on Thursday, July 6th, 2006, at Provena USMC in Danville. She was born on November 25th, 1916, in Salem, IL, the daughter of James H. and Verna (Crane) Watson. She married Billie Boyd on October 16th, 1941, in St. Charles, MO. He preceded her in death in October 1984. Survivors include: her son, Billie Joe Boyd of Richardson, TX; her brother, James Buster (Mona) Watson of Salem, IL; her sister, Evelyn West of Georgetown; her grandson, Michael Boyd of Richardson, TX, and his mother, Sherry Boyd of Austin, TX; and her many nieces and nephews. Her parents, one brother-George Cobb Watson, and her son-Robert Keith Boyd, preceded her in death. Martha Eloise was a member of the Georgetown United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafts and loved flowers. Martha really enjoyed writing and receiving letters. A visitation will be held to celebrate Martha Eloises life from 2pm to 4pm at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Hillcrest Burial Park located in Waxahachie, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Marthas name are welcome at the Georgetown United Methodist Church.
