Martha A Boland

Martha A. Boland, 74, of Westville, passed away at 10:47am, Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. She was born on January 16, 1943, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Gus and Josephine {Lesage} Delattre, both deceased. She was united in marriage to Bobby Boland on June 24, 1966, in Westville, IL, until his passing in 2011. Those who will miss her include her daughter, Bobbi Dorene Boland of Westville and several close friends. Her daughter, Nancy Jo Foster, preceded Martha in death. Martha was a homemaker who later worked as a secretary for Groppi, McNamera, Underhill Law Offices until her retirement. She was member of the Local Book Club. She loved her dogs, Sassy, Bailey, & Maggie. She enjoyed reading, gardening, camping, and fishing. She was also known to sit in her backyard and enjoy Nature. She loved going on weekend excursions wherever they might have led. Martha cherished the time she spent with her friends and family. A celebration of Martha's life will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville. Visitation for family and friends will be held 12:00pm to 2:00pm prior to her service on Sunday at the funeral home. Per her wishes, Martha was cremated. Memorial donations may be given towards one of Martha's favorite pastimes of reading to Westville Public Library.
