Marshall E. Pridemore

Danville Marshall Eugene Pridemore, 80, of Danville, passed away at 9:08 AM on Monday, August 1, 2023 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville. He was born September 1, 1942 in Danville to Marshall and Caroline (Lipowsky) Pridemore. He married Dianne Marie Myers on May 4, 1963. She survives.

Also surviving are three children, Annette (Jim) Warbritton of Danville, Marianne (Aaron) Richard of Tigard, OR, and Robert (Brenda) Pridemore of Tigard, OR; daughter-in-law Kim Pridemore of Smyrna, DE; eight grandchildren, Justin Wilson, Kristin Duke, Jeffrey Wilson, Kaitlyn Evans, Amanda (Jordan) Lawrence, Michael Pridemore, Jordan Pridemore, and Jayden Pridemore; five great-grandchildren, Madison Duke, Hunter Duke, Tyler Evans, Sadie Lawrence, and Ryan Evans; and three siblings, Paul (Carol) Pridemore of Covington, Thomas (Kathy) Pridemore of Poplar Bluff, MO, and Debra Zoerb of Ridge Farm.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, John Pridemore, and a sister, Anna Marie.

Marshall worked for J. Frank Schmidt & Sons in Oregon as an accountant and comptroller for many years. Whether it was hunting elk and deer or fishing, he loved to be outdoors. However, Marshalls favorite pastime was going to games for his kids and grandkids to watch them play ball.

A service to celebrate the life of Marshall Pridemore will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Danville. Father James Myers and Father John Cyr will officiate. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Danville. A luncheon for family and friends will follow the graveside committal at St. Pauls Motsett Center in Danville. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Monday, August 7, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL 61834.
