Marsha K Wiliams

Marsha K. "Marty" Williams, 55, of Westville passed away at 1:01 a.m. Friday October 14, 2011 at her home. She was born on March 11, 1956 in Danville, IL. She married Michael E. Williams on July 4, 1976 in Danville, IL. He survives. Other survivors include her son, Michael E. Williams II of Westville, her stepmother, Kathy Quick of Tilton, three brothers, Jim Quick of Tilton, Kirby Quick of Alvin, and Bob Quick of Peoria, her sister, Debbie (Quick) Ball of Vidor, TX., her grandson, Michael E. Williams III, her close friend of the family for many years, Chuckie Paxton and too many other friends to name them all. She was preceded in death by her father Frank Quick. Marty enjoyed NASCAR racing, fishing and working in her garden. She also enjoyed bowling (WHO WE ARE - Julees Shooting Star). Marty lived life to the fullest. She was more concerned with doing things for others than herself. She touched many people's lives. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday October 19, 2011 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, A Life Celebration Home. Phil Miller will officiate. Burial will be at Danville National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Tuesday October 18, 2001 at the funeral home.
