Marlene Wright

Marlene Alma (Hill) Wright of Danville Illinois and Port Charlotte Florida passed on Oct 28, 2018. Marlene enjoyed the outdoors, pool and beach. She loved spending time with her family. She served in the US NAVY where she met her deceased husband Ross Dean. She enjoyed her time spent with her church family at Murdoch Christian Church while at her winter home and Second Church in Danville Il. Marlene never missed a swim meet, wrestling match, baseball or football game with her children, grandchildren or great grandchildren. Her greatest pleasure while home was watching her Soap Operas, she watched them all and loved every minute of them. Marlene was a machine operator at TEEPAK in Danville for 28 years before her retirement. She is survived by her husband John D Wright of Danville and Port Charlotte. She is also survived by her son Michael Dean (Teresa) of Hoopeston IL, Bruce Dean (Chris) of Chesapeake VA and Daughter Lori Dean (Brad Homuth) of Naples FL. Bonus Sons Greg Wright (Nancy) of Veederburg IN, Jeff Wright (Bonnie) of Covington IN, and Brad Wright of St Louis MO She is also survived by her sisters Janice (Wally) Peabody of Houlton ME and Sun City FL, Mary (Wayne) Hughes of Houlton ME and Sun City FL and brother Arville Porter (Ruth) of Houlton ME and Zephyrhills FL. Marlene had 17 Grandchildren and numerous Great grandchildren. Marlene was proceeded in death by her husband Ross Dean, Son Larry Dean and her Parents Montford Hill, Mildred and James Porter. A celebration of Marlene's life will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Second Church of Christ, Danville. She will be laid to rest at Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston.
