Marlene Stuckemeyer

Marlene Stuckemeyer, 69, passed away on July 27, 2008 at her residence in Danville. Marlene was born May 29, 1939 in Altamont, IL daughter of John C. and Lois Ready Heth. She married William J. Stuckemeyer on October 12, 1958 at the First Methodist Church in Altamont. He survives along with daughter: Tamara (Dennis) Allen of Lavergne, TN., and sister: Marilyn (Milford) Larson of Morris, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents. Marlene was a 56 graduate of Altamont Community High School and had worked as a assistant treasurer at American Savings Bank for 27 years until retiring in January of 2003. She was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church in Danville for a number of years, and enjoyed crocheting. A Celebration of Marlenes Life will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Ridgeview Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Keyser officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Tuesday evening at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Sunset Mausoleum in Danville. Memorial may be made to the local Breast Cancer Center and/or Ridgeview Baptist Church.
