Marlene Streuer

Marlene Streuer, 75, of Danville, IL passes away at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born on April 24, 1946 to Harold and Patricia (Edwards) Stark. She married Clarence Streuer on June 19, 1966 in Danville, IL.

Surviving Marlene include her husband, Clarence of Danville; her mother, Patricia Stark of Catlin; two daughters, Michelle (Everett) Tooker of Hornbeak, TN and Colleen (David) Falletti of Urbana, IL; twin grandsons, Riley and Ryan Faletti of Urbana but currently serving in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army respectively; one granddaughter, Madison Tooker of Hornbeak, TN; one step granddaughter, Haylee Tooker of Lafayette, IN; one sister, Donna Herron of Cedar Hill, MO; one brother Brent Stark of St. Joseph, IL; one brother in law, Lawrence (Donna) Streuer of Weeki Wachee, FL; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Marlene was preceded in death by her father, Harold Stark, and brother, Linden Stark.

Her last employment was a greeter at Walmart in Danville. She was also a member of South Side Church of Christ. In her earlier years she loved to craft, sew, and quilt. After her husband retired in 2008, they enjoyed fishing and taking rides to areas in and around Vermilion County.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Officiating will be Pastor Raymie Gordon. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
