Markon 'Lee Vong' Lee

There was this man, this wonderful man, who suddenly left this world too soon. To many, he was Lee Vong Xiong and among friends, he was Markon Lee. He lived in Bensenville, IL and worked as a credit counselor at ABN AMRO Mortgage Group, Inc. in Norridge, IL. He passed away on March 24, 2006 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. He was born on April 5, 1979 in Ban Vinai, Thailand to Youa Ying Xiong and Xia Xiong. He is survived by his parents (Danville, IL), his brothers: Michael L. (Pa) Xiong and their six children (Danville, IL), Christopher Y. (True) Xiong and their six children (Danville, IL), Peter Xiong (Danville, IL), and Lee Shoua Xiong (Bensenville, IL; sisters: Mai (Andrew) Her and their six children (Milwaukee, WI), Jennifer Xiong (Gildas) Lo and their four children (Gentry, AR), and May Kao Xiong (Champaign, IL). Markon was a vibrant young man who loved and enjoyed life. He lived by his own convictions and passions in life and had a deep respect for others. He was brought up Catholic and attended school at Holy Family, Danville High, and Danville Area Community College. He had this aura of happiness about him wherever he went and whomever he was with. He was the most compassionate and understanding brother, friend, and person you could ever ask for. He enjoyed playing sports, going fishing, listening to music, and living life to fullest. Later, he developed a passion for cars which grew from his own inspirations and desires. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially playing around with his nieces and nephews. He was blessed with many friends in his life. Markon was a man that when he spoke, his words were worth more than gold. He always laughed and smiled. He was a man that warmed peoples souls. With him you would never know what to expect. This was our brother, our life-long friend and companion, our hero " Markon Lee.
