Mark Wahlfeldt

Mark A. Wahlfeldt, 51, of Danville passed away at 6:22pm on Thursday February 17, 2005 at United Samaritan Medical Center. He was born on November 9, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Edwin J. and Joan (Drews) Wahlfeldt. Mark married Susan Rice on July 3, 1974 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. He is survived by his wife Susan, one daughter Jennifer L. (Todd) Moreman, and two grandsons, Nathaniel and Michael Moreman, all of Danville. He is also survived by three aunts, Carol Russian, Bonnie Holmes, and Sharron Runyan, and one uncle Fred Wahlfeldt. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Lucas, and one sister, Melissa Levite. Mark worked for Walgreen's Accounting as a supervisor. He then retired from Illinois Power after serving as a lineman and engineering representative. Mark was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He belonged to the National Rifle Association, Pheasant's Forever, B.A.S.S. and North American Fishing Club.
