Mark Hodgson

Mark Hodgson, 65, of Oakwood, IL passed away at 2:12 AM on June 12, 2023 at Gardenview Manor in Danville, IL.

Mark was born on December 18, 1957 the son of Donald and Evelyn (Henley) Hodgson in Champaign, IL. He married Angela Bounds on January 18, 1990 in Oakwood, IL and she preceded him in death on May 5, 2015.

Survivors include his children, Brandon (Kristi) Hodgson of Dennison, IA, Andrea Pittman of Greenfield, WI, his father, Donald Hodgson of Homer, IL, his stepchildren, Justin (Julie) Behrens of Danville, IL and Jason (Andrea) Geiling of Newman, IL, siblings, Mike (Nancy) Hodgson, David Hodgson, Steve (Sue) Hodgson and Donna (Bruce) Silcox as well as four grandchildren.

Mark is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Hodgson and his wife, Angela Hodgson.

Mark was a Heavy Equipment Operator for many years and enjoyed spending his free time boating, camping, gardening and working in his yard as well as spending time with his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Sunsets Oakwood Chapel, 105 E. South Main Street Oakwood, IL. Jay Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 PM Friday, June 23, 2023 at the funeral home in Oakwood.
