Mark Francis Burnett

Mark "Boodah" Burnett, age 63 died on Thursday, August, 31st 2017, at his home in Mahomet, Illinois. He was born on November 19th, 1953 in Champaign, Illinois the son of Otto and Phyllis Burnett. Mark attended and graduated from Mahomet-Seymour school district. He was an avid outdoorsman and had exceptional marksmanship, he was also a cement mason and was a member of the local 143 Cement Mason's Union for 28 years. Mark loved and provided for his family. He is survived by his wife; Susan, son; Jacob Burnett (Melinda Edwards) of Sidney, IL, daughter; Suzanne Burnett of Omaha, NE, stepson; Ryan (Stephanie) Steele of Ogden, IL, sisters; Sandy Fuqua and Sheila Carpenter of Monticello, IL, and four grandchildren; Axel, Faith, Jaxon, and Makayla. Mark was a loving husband, beloved father and faithful friend. Private services and a Celebration of Mark's life will be held at a later date.
