Mark D Prewitt

CHAMPAIGN- Mark D. Prewitt, 58, of Champaign passed away on September 4, 2014. Mark was born on February 24, 1956 in Paxton, IL, the son of the late Erma and Bob Prewitt. He married Faith Gierra on November 2, 1985 in Port Arthur, TX. He enjoyed fishing and playing pool and darts. Mark was a union carpenter out of Local 44. Preceding him in death is his parents; three siblings, Rex, Brenda, and Peggy; and his beloved dog, Roscoe. Surviving is his wife, Faith of TX; brothers, David (Teresia) Miller of IN, Michael of AR; sisters, Pam Jones of KY, Penny (John) Scott of Fisher, IL, Carol (Mark) Macdonald, Rantoul, IL, and Tena Shankles of Rantoul, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation rights have been accorded by Sunset Funeral Home, 710 N. Neil St., Champaign, IL. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Glades Hall, 226 E.
