Mark A. Mcquown

Mark Allen McQuown Mark Allen McQuown, 58, of Danville, passed away at 2:10 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 at his home. Mark was born October 2, 1951, in Danville, the son of Thomas Richard and Theda (Wakeland) McQuown. He was previously married to Sandy Pichon and Cathy Allison. He is survived by his mother-Theda McQuown of Danville; four children- Ian (Erica) McQuown of Covington, IN, Amy Marie McQuown, Jessica Beth McQuown, and Abby Gayle McQuown all of Danville; two brothers- Richard (Rachel) McQuown of Chrisman IL and David (Crystal) McQuown of Danville; two sisters- Leslie (Kenneth) Merril of Danville and Theda Teea (Daniel) Nys of Neenah, WI; ten grandchildren- Ceondre, Jylian, Jacob, Alyjah, Jozaedon, Alejandro Alex, Jordan, Jacob, Justin and Jeremy; special friend- Becky Livingston of Georgetown; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and one granddaughter- Ariona. Mark graduated from Danville High School in 1969. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving from 1976-1980, serving in Germany during this time. Mark previously attended Vermilion Heights Methodist Church. He previously worked at Danville Metal Stamping and Quaker in Danville. Mark was an avid Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs and Bears fan. He enjoyed playing poker and chess with his family and friends. He enjoyed listening to rock and roll and spending time with his family and friends. Mark also enjoyed preparing taxes.
