Mark A. Cawthon

Perrysville, Ind. - Mark A. Cawthon, 56, of Perrysville, passed away at 8:56 a.m. CDT Friday, August 25, 2017 at Presence United Samaritans Medical in Danville, Illinois.

He was born September 14, 1960 in Danville, Illinois the son of James D. and Sandra S. (Bahls) Cawthon.

Mark married Delores (Dee) A. Moore on June 12, 1988 in Gessie, Indiana. She survives.

Other survivors include his two sons, Dustin (Haley) Cawthon of Terre Haute, Indiana and Garreth Cawthon of Perrysville, Indiana; his father, James D. (Mary Lou) Cawthon of Gessie, Indiana; sister, Amber (Chris) Rudolph of Gessie, Indiana; father and mother-in-law, Jim (Patti) Moore of Cayuga, Indiana; niece, Alannah Rudolph of Gessie, Indiana and nephew, Matthew Rudolph of Perrysville.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra S. Cawthon.

Mark was currently working as a truck driver for Holland in Danville, Illinois. He was a 1979 graduate of North Vermillion High School. Mark enjoyed flying and was currently taking lessons. He was a member of the UL 81 in Kingman, Indiana and the E.A.A. He enjoyed many shooting sports, restoring old tractors, working in his flower bed, going to Oshkosh, Wisconsin to the annual air show and watching the Greenbay Packers. Most of all, Mark enjoyed spending time with his family.

Funeral services: 8 p.m. EDT Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana. Cremation following. Visitation: 4 p.m. EDT Wednesday, August 30, 2017 until time of services at the funeral home. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date at Hopewell Cemetery near Gessie, Indiana.
