WESTVILLE - Marjorie E. Nigra, 87, of Westville passed away at 6:30 a.m. Friday October 5, 2007 at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home. She was born on February 10, 1920 in Meek Station, IL the daughter of Walter and Edna Vincent Hart. She married Eugene Nigra Sr. on June 10, 1942 in Georgetown, IL. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1989. Those who will miss her include: one son, Eugene Nigra Jr. of Westville; one daughter, Robin Wright of Westville; one brother, John (LaVonne) Hart of Westville; one sister, Leah Yerem of Westville; her grandchildren, Crystal (Bub) Gummere of Westville, Jan (Greg) Petticrew of Westville, Meghan Nigra of Carbondale, Chesli Nigra of Carbondale, Lindsay Nigra of Georgetown, Todd (Alissa) Wright of Danville, Robert (Jennifer) Wright of Danville, and Erin Wright of Carbondale; her great grandchildren, Joseph Petticrew, Steven Petticrew, Morgan Gummere, Chase Thurston, and Kennady Thurston; and a special friend Winnie Hawkins of Eugene, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter - Scarlett Kielich, two sisters - Lois Hart and Mary Nier, and one brother- Paul Hart. Marjorie was a member of the Jehovah Witnesss Kingdom Hall of Georgetown. She loved being outside and working with her flowers. She also loved rummage sales. A celebration of Marjories life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday October 8, 2007 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel of Westville. Officiating will be Ed Lovett. She will be laid to rest in McKendree Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., one hour prior to the services.
