Marjorie Burmeister

Marjorie F. Burmeister, 82, of Danville passed away at 6:50 am Thursday June 3, 2004 at Hawthorn Inn. Marjorie was born March 26, 1922 in Danville the daughter of the late Floyd H. and Vera May (Hathaway) Pratt. Marjorie married Edward Burmeister on November 25, 1953 in Danville and he survives of Danville. Other survivors include a niece Charlotte Bireline of Danville cousins Peggy (Rodger) Hankins, Julie Hankins of Danville and Todd (Marty) Hankins of Fairmount special friends Alex (Evelyn) Cooke of Westville and many other friends and family. 1 brother Charles Pratt preceded her in death. Marjorie was a 1941 graduate of Bismarck High School and attended Utterback Business College. Marjorie worked at Chanute Field and Kankakee Ordinance Plant in Stores accounting during WWII. Marjorie retired from R&S Printing in 1980. Marjorie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Eunice Society, and Aid Association for Lutherans, Illinois Organaires Club, BPW, and AARP. Marjorie enjoyed her many friends and she also liked to play the organ, dance, and crochet.
