Marjorie Ann Gilliland

Marjorie Ann Gilliland, born October 9, 1935 went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2022.

Marjorie was born to parents Anthony and Floreine Miller. She married Jimmie Gilliland on October 30, 1955 and he survives.

Marjorie will be missed by her husband, Jimmie of Panama City, FL, daughter, Penny Blair of Panama City, FL, son, Phillip Gilliland (Rita) of Vincent, AL and many nieces and nephews.

Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Shirley Miller, and son-in-law, Andrew Blair.

Marjorie was very active in the First Presbyterian Church in Danville, Illinois where she was a member for more than 75 years. She was a housewife, avid bowler, loved knitting as well as life.

A Private Family Celebration of Life Service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Ann Schwartz will officiate. Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. A Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 5-7:00 PM at the funeral home.

It is kindly requested that those in attendance of visitation or the funeral wear a mask and practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers it is requested that Memorials be given to the American Cancer Society or the First Presbyterian Church in Danville, IL.
