Marilyn Sue Hatcher

Marilyn Sue (Fleming) Hatcher, 72, of Danville IL passed away on October 12, 2014 at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman IL. She was born at home on March 23, 1942 in Fithian. She was the daughter of Harlyn Rush Fleming and Marjorie Thompson Fleming Redenbaugh. Survivors include her children Harlyn Hatcher, Amy Hatcher Winfield of Danville, Raymond Hatcher (Kwang) of Killeen, TX; siblings Carol Dianne Troxel of Buckhead, GA, Donald "Gene" Fleming (Patsy) of Chicago, IL, John Fleming (Arletta) of Cayuga, IN, Wand Webster (Richard) of Paris, IL, sisters-in-law Mickey Fleming of Crocker, MO, and Carol Niccum (Dave) of Georgetown, IL; grandchildren Gary (Jesse) Hatcher of Westville, IL, Josh (Kim) Hatcher of Fairmount, Aaron (Courtney) Hatcher of Ft. Campbell, KY, Amanda Hatcher of New Orleans, LA and Jennifer Hatcher of Killeen, TX; great-grandchildren Gage and Garrett Hatcher of Westville, Ariel, Peyton, Harmoney and Cash Hatcher of Fairmount, Jalynn Barnes of Ft. Campbell, KY; an uncle Leroy "Sixty" Thompson of Georgetown, IL and numerous nieces and nephew and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dennis Fleming and Richard Fleming and brother-in-law Jack Troxel. Marilyn was a 1960 graduate of Georgetown High School, Georgetown IL. She worked for the Plastic Factory (Chicago Molding), Petersons (KIK), Safety Grip and she retired from Time-O-Matic. Marilyn was an avid bowler and had bowled on several leagues in Ridgefarm, Georgetown, and Danville through the years and enjoyed the company of the ladies she bowled with. She so enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. A Memorial Service will be conducted on December 6, 2014 at 2:00pm (CST) at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N Vermilion, Danville IL. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that for those who desire, memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice.
