Marilyn S. Nixon

GEORGETOWN - Marilyn S. Nixon, 60, of Georgetown passed away at 3:00 a.m. Saturday January 13, 2007 at Provena USMC Logan Campus. She was born on July 2, 1946 in Danville, IL the daughter of Jim and Juanita Marie Brown Baldwin. Survivors include: three sons, Denny Dunavan of Danville, Nick (Vickie) Blatteau of Georgetown, and Ron (Star) Bradfield of Georgetown; one daughter, Candy (John) Worley of Arkansas; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a special friend, Billy Dieu of Georgetown. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Jim, Jerry, Chuck, & Jackie Baldwin. Marilyn enjoyed gardening and playing Bingo. She loved spending time with her family and friends and will be sadly missed by all. A celebration of Marilyns life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday January 17, 2007 at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery.
