Marilyn Ruth Larrance

Marilyn Ruth Larrance, 85, of Danville passed away with family by her side on April 29, 2017 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Marilyn was born the daughter of Russel and Mary (Edmunds) Pierce on April 23, 1932 in Hamond, IN. Marilyn married Howard Frank Larrance on December 11, 1954 in Danville. Frank survives. Also surviving is one son, Howard Kent (Susan) Larrance, one daughter Dawn (Luis) Ramos, one son in law, Lynn Wilson, one sister in law, Karen Sue Kiger, eight grandchildren, Kevin, Tia, Jim, Becky, Adam, Nicholas, Michael and Sara, nine great grandchildren. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Vickie Wilson, two granddaughters, Heather and Amanda Larrance. Marilyn enjoyed collecting little toys rather they were from McDonalds or Star Wars she got as many as she could. She also enjoyed gardening as of late it was fairy gardens that she could do in her home. Marilyn enjoyed finding treasures in jewelry, having the bright shiny costume jewelry was fun to find and get to ware. She loved to play cards and bingo. Marilyn enjoyed her pets at home as well she taught one bird how to sing. Most of all it was her family, enjoying their company, thoughts and just being there for her was always a comfort. Marilyn's family per her wishes has entrusted Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center with the cremation.
