Veedersburg, Ind. -- Marilyn L. Hornbeck Cocheran, 64, of Veedersburg and formerly of Frankfort, Indiana, passed away at 11:39 a.m. EDT Friday (June 15, 2007) at St. Vincent Hospital in Williamsport, Indiana. She was born November 5, 1942 in Vermillion County, Indiana the daughter of Orville and Elma Marie Neild Hornbeck. Survivors include: her father, Orville Hornbeck of Dana, Indiana; nieces and nephews, Lloyd Chapman, Jr.; Kenny(Terri)Chapman; Diana(Mark)Hampton; Rhonda Chapman; Jeff(Mandi)Hornbeck; Julie Jackman and Christina(Chris)Bryant; several great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by Paul Cocheran on February 24, 2007; her mother and two sisters, Norma Chapman and Shirley Straw. Marilyn was a 1960 graduate of Cayuga High School. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Frankfort, Indiana. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking and spending time with her family. Funeral services: 11 a.m. EDT Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Burial: Eugene Cemetery, Eugene, Indiana; Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. EDT Monday, June 18, 2007 at the funeral home.
