Marilyn Johnson

Marilyn R. Johnson 82, of Redding, California formerly of Danville, Illinois, passed away the morning of November 13, 2023.

She was born January 4, 1941 in Danville, Illinois to Robert and Alice OToole Fisher. She married Charles Johnson, the love of her life, January 11, 1964. He preceded her in death along with two sons. She is survived by three daughters Kathy Palmer of Florida, Debbie (Dan) Esworthy of Indiana and Ruth (Mike) Oberlander of California, and one son, Chris (Kim) Johnson of Nevada, 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Marilyn was an LPN in the OB department of St Elizabeths and later providing home care to many families. She enjoyed cooking crocheting and spending time with family and her lifelong friends. She specially loved a good joke and playing cards.

Private family services were held in California. She will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove cemetery in Oakwood.
