Marilyn I. Graham

Marilyn Ida Graham, 96, of Urbana, passed away on November 10, 2024, at Carle Foundation Hospital, surrounded by family.

A celebration of Marilyn's life will be held at Sunset Funeral Home (710 N Neil St., Champaign, IL) on Sunday, November 17. Visitation is at 1pm, followed by a funeral service at 2pm. Please wear colorful, comfortable clothes.

Marilyn will be laid to rest privately in Danville National Cemetery.

Marilyn was born in Danville to Herbert and Ida (Schultz) Drews. She later worked at Oakwood Power Station, where she met and married Roger Graham in 1956. They had two children, Gayle and Randy. Marilyn taught Kindergarten at Trinity Lutheran School in Danville. After retirement, they traveled extensively in their motorhome, visiting all 50 states. They later settled in Champaign and enjoyed helping at Curtis Orchard. Marilyn loved birdwatching, puzzles, and games, and was active at Vineyard for over 45 years.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Gayle (Chris) Vivona and Randy (Debbie) Graham; 7 grandchildren, Aaron (Erin) Overly-Graham, Rachel (Jeremy) Coventry, Carissa (Dushan) Katic, Cameron (Jacqueline) Graham, Lindsay Vivona, Juliana (Devon) Bell, and Casey (Alicja) Vivona; and 18 great-grandchildren.
