GEORGETOWN- Marilyn Grace (Humrichous) Allen, 76, of Georgetown, passed away at 10:07 am Tuesday, September 28th, 2004, at Provena USMC Logan Campus. She was born on August 22nd, 1928, in Georgetown, the daughter of Albert T. Humrichous and Virginia P. (Walden) Humrichous. On October 27th, 1946, Marilyn was united in marriage to Charles F. Allen in Georgetown. He survives and will miss her dearly. Other family members that will deeply miss Marilyn are: her son, Norman L. Allen of Georgetown; a daughter, Paula J. (Stan) Boelman of Luton, England; one brother, Leland (Charlotte) Humrichous of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Timothy and Jonathan Boelman of Luton, England; one niece, Dayna Humrichous; and two Nephews, Joe Humrichous and Jim (Terri) Humrichous. Her parents and one brother, Gordon Humrichous, preceded her in death. Marilyn graduated from Georgetown High School and attended Pillsbury Bible College in Owatonna, MN. For 20 years of her life, she traveled giving her life to North America in pursuing education and Christian Service. While living in Georgetown, she was a faithful member of the Bethel Baptist Church, a member of the American P.O.W. Kickapoo Chapter and a volunteer at Danville Illiana Health Care Systems. Marilyn was a caring wife and mother who loved the Lord, her family, church and country. She was a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ that was reflected in ministry to women's groups and children. She was an encourager for others in their walk of faith. Her organ donation reflects her spirit of giving. Her heart for Jesus Christ spoke forth with abounding joy and passionate love for others. She glorified God in her life and in her death leaving a legacy of true Bible Faith.
