Marilyn Davis

Oakwood- Marilyn Frances Razaitis Davis, age 53, died Monday, Oct. 10 at her home in Oakwood. She was born Nov. 23, 1957, the youngest child and only daughter of Anthony and Patricia Razaitis. She is survived by her mother Pat, her daughter Chrystal, and three grandchildren, Madisun, Macey, and Greyson, and also her brother Robert. She was preceded in death by her father Tony, brother Daniel, and infant son Roy Davis, Jr. Marilyn attended Colison, Northridge, and DHS and also received an associate degree in Business from DACC. She worked at K's Merchandise, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Oakwood Grocery, and Casey's in Oakwood, and more recently for Hebron and Oakwood Methodist Churches. She took great delight in her grandchildren and even when they moved to Florida kept up with their activities. Leah and Blue, her two Shih Tsu's, were a great comfort to her as were her many friends. She was a member of Hebron Methodist Church at Newtown, Illinois where services and burial will be held on Sat. Oct. 15, at 10 AM. The Rev. Kim Dancey will officiate. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville is in charge of arrangements.
