Marilyn Constans

Marilyn Constans, 67, of Danville, passed away at 1:00pm, Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at her home. She was born on December 21, 1947, the daughter of Ike and Gwendolyn {Hughes} Eickelman. She was united in marriage to David Constans on March 31, 1967, in Danville. He survives. She is also survived by: her children, David Scott (Christine) Constans of Danville and Melissa (Carolyn Nance) Miller of Georgia; her grandchildren, Emily Arbuckle, Dustin Miller, & Devon Miller, all of Georgia; and her sister, Barbara Maschmeyer of California. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Chuck. Marilyn worked at the YWCA/Crosspoints in Danville. She enjoyed being with people. She loved reading, playing games, & watching her favorite soap operas. Above all else, Marilyn cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. A celebration of Marilyns life will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, January 2, 2015, at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Danville, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be 11am - 1pm Friday prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Spring Hill Cemetery, Danville.
