Marilyn Carol Brown

Champaign - Marilyn Carol Brown, 75, passed away on Saturday April 15, 2017 at Heartland Health Care Center in Champaign, IL. She was born on September 19, 1941 in Oklahoma to Steen and Maurine (Alexander) Lemon. Marilyn married Edwin Brown on March 26, 1964. Marilyn is survived by her daughter Karin (Paul) Sailor; grandson Johnathan; siblings Nell (Dale) Wilson and Steen (Maria) Lemon; and various nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents. Most recently, Marilyn enjoyed assembling jigsaw puzzles, reading, and playing bingo and dominos. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening. Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 19, 2017 from 12:00pm - 1:30pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 710 N. Neil St. Champaign, IL 61820. Graveside committal will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Marilyn's name to the National Parkinson Foundation.
