Marietta M. Arrasmith

Perrysville, Ind. -- Marietta M. Arrasmith, 88, of Perrysville, passed away at 5:34 p.m. CDT Friday, September 23, 2011 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. She was born October 18, 1922, in Perrysville, Ind., the daughter of the late Fred H. and Elsie M. Skinner Kemna. She married Thomas Alva Arrasmith on January 17, 1948, in Danville, Ill. He preceded her in death on June 5, 2006. Survivors include: two sons, Gary(Yvonne)Arrasmith of Kingman, Indiana and Alan(Joye)Arrasmith of Birmingham, Alabama and two grandchildren, Melissa(Duane)Allen and Nathan Arrasmith; one great grandson, Arran. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Kemna. Marietta was a very involved member and secretary of the Union Corner United Methodist Church in Danville, Illinois. She was a 1940 graduate of Perrysville High School. Marietta enjoyed traveling and camping.
