Maridell Yoho

Maridell Yoho, 88, of Georgetown, passed away at 11:25pm, Thursday, March 21, 2019, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Danville. She was born on September 3, 1930 in Libertyville, Indiana, the daughter of Albert and Florence {Hill} Alden. She was united in marriage to Warren Yoho on January 23, 1948, until his passing.

Maridell leaves behind her children, Cindy (Duane) Cunningham, Donalee Baker, Zeke (Brenda) Yoho, & Nanci (Doug) Blaase, and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sons, Glen Yoho & Larry Yoho, her daughter, Darlene Yoho, and her grandson, Brandon Yoho.

Maridell enjoyed being a mother and grandmother and was known to "never quit raising kids". She was a wonderful caregiver, PTA Room Mother, Brownie Leader, and always willing to help a person in need. She was a member of the American Legion Womens Auxiliary Post #203 in Georgetown. She also loved to travel, garden, and go fishing. Maridell enjoyed being outside bird watching and loved all animals especially her cats. She cherished her family above all else and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Maridells life will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Georgetown, located at 200 E West St, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be held 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday March 25, 2019 at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Forest Park Cemetery, Georgetown.
