Marian Marie Heideman, age 92 , went to be with the Lord on Tuesday evening Dec. 16, 2025 at home with her family by her side. Marian was born on June 22, 1933 in Danville, Illinois to Alfred and Minnie Anders. She was united in marriage to Marlon Heideman on May 14, 1955 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Danville, by the Rev. Robert Bartz.
Marian was a life-long member of Immanuel. She graduated from Covington High School and worked as a medical secretary for Dr. T.T. Suzuki and Dr. M. Adeli for over 30 years. She thoroughly enjoyed her work as it allowed her to meet so many wonderful people. Following her retirement, she and Marlon assisted at church with various duties, as well as helping with dinners. They also volunteered at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center for 14 yrs. Marian's greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She especially enjoyed fun times spent together on family vacations, birthdays, holidays, and many countless hours spent talking and enjoying each other's company sitting around the firepit.
Marian is survived by her 3 children, Lynn (Rick) Beck, of Covington; Carol (Dwayne) Dunlap, of Indianapolis: and Alan (Julie) Heideman of Fishers, Ind; grandchildren: Jason (Michelle) Beck of Covington, Justin Beck of Indianapolis, Holly (Daniel) Kieda of Greenwood, IN, Laura (Jordan) Lakes of Southport, IN, Steven Edwards and Josh (fiancé Hannah Fuller) Heideman, both of Indianapolis, IN, and Aaron (Lorena) Heideman of Lafayette; great-grandchildren: Rhyane and Riley Beck of Covington and Joseph Aidan and Marlon Finnigan Beck of Indianapolis; along with some very close nieces and nephews.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Minnie Anders, 2 brothers, twin Clarence (Marie), Fred (Myra), sisters Zedores (John) Stambaugh and Elizabeth (Glenwood) Holland.
