Marguerite L. Stayton

Terre Haute, IN- Marguerite L. Stayton, 91, of Terre Haute, IN, formerly of Danville, passed away on March 2, 2011 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born on October 6, 1919 in Champaign, IL to Fred and Geneva Reath Anderson. She married Joseph Stayton on June 9, 1951 in Calumet City, IL. He preceded her in death. Surviving are a son David (Katie) Judy of Las Vegas, NV; daughter Kay (Dick) McGuire of Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three brothers. Marguerite had worked for the Illinois Bell Telephone Company for 38 years until her retirement in 1983. She was also a member at the First Church of Christ in Danville. Per Marguerites wishes, there will be no services. Entombment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
