Marguerite A. Klinkow

Marguerite A. Klinkow, 88, of Danville passed away at 9:43am on Tuesday November 4, 2008 at Provena USMC Logan Campus. Marguerite was born on November 17, 1919 the daughter of Alford J. and Grace F. Martin Swisher. She married Ivan N. Klinkow in 1958, he preceded her on January 1, 1980. Marguerite is survived by her children; Richard (Cherri) Klinkow, Donna (Ed) Spencer, Cindy Klinkow all of Danville and Mary Rouse of Urbana. Nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a brother Alford J. Swisher of Danville also survive her. Her parents, husband, two grandchildren, three sisters and a brother preceded her in death. Marguerite loved cooking and entertaining her family and friends and no one will forget how she could dance the jig. She will always be in their hearts. A celebration of Marguerites life will be held at 10:00am on Friday November 7 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Pastor James Blue will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
