Margery Kennedy

Margery Theresa Kennedy, 93, passed away at 10:10pm on Friday, August 18, 2017 at her home. born March 14, 1924 in New Orleans, Louisiana has moved on to meet with her parents William P Lacey and Theresa Miller, her brother William Percy, her grandson Terry L Kennedy and her nephew Thornton R Percy on August 18, 2017. She is survived by a son, John C. Kennedy of Quincy, Illinois and a daughter, Theresa L. Jones of Champaign, Illinois. She also leaves two nieces Peggy Wilson of Washington D. C. and Aurelia Grayson of New Jersey, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She retired in 1984 as a nurse who served in multiple military hospitals for thirty years and was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Stars and the Regalettes. She battled Alzheimer's since 1999 and in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association in her name. Sunset funeral home is assisting the family in making arrangements.
