Margarette Yargus

Margarette Yargus, 63, of Danville, passed away at 11:50am on Wednesday, June 30, 2009 at the Seton Hospital in Lafayette, IN. She was born on January 19, 1946, in Hamburg, Arkansas, the daughter of Charles and Nettie (Bolin) Toney. She was married to Mr. Lawrence E. Yargus Sr. until his passing. She is survived by her companion of 18 years, Mr. Gene Randall of Danville, her son, Lawrence E. Yargus Jr. of Danville, two daughters, Carolyn Toney of Danville, and Connie Dunlap of Palestine, IL. Her six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, her two brothers, Wesley Toney of Danville, John Toney of Florida, her two sisters, Sue Cox of Danville, Marilyn Carrier of IN, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive Margarette. Her parents, husband, her infant daughter, Carla, 2 brothers, Charles and James Toney, and two sisters, Jerlene Hulsey, and Bonnie Bowen, precede Margarette in death. She enjoyed embroidery, fishing, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. A Celebration of Margarettes Life will began at 3:00pm on Friday, July 3, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center located at 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville with internment to follow at Johnson Cemetery in Danville. Visitation will began at 2:00pm on Friday, until time of service at the funeral home.
