Margaret Walsh Underwood Orsulak, 85, of Danville passed away on February 15, 2009 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. Margaret was born February 1, 1924 in Danville daughter of William & Fleta (Blakla) Walsh. She married Lester Underwood in 1948-died 1952 Surviving is a daughter Nancy (Thomas R.) Smith and grand-daughter: Melissa (Matthew) Muirhead. She married Russell Orsulak in 1970-died 2002, surviving are six step-children: Susan (Henry) Symanski, Ann (Roger) Seibert, Thomas (Leigh Ann) Orsulak, Mark Orsulak, James (Nancy) Orsulak, John (Pat Hobbs) Orsulak; 12 step grand-children and 6 great grand-children. And sister: Nancy (Alfred) Linne and several nieces and nephews. Margaret attended Danville Grade schools and graduated from Fairmount High in 41 and had worked 28 years for Chicago and Eastern Illinois Railroad, and retired as Chief Clerk of Stores Dept. in 1970. She was a member of St. Pauls Church in Danville for a number of years, Lambda Tau Delta Sorority, Life member of St. Elizabeth Hospital Auxiliary, and Vermilion Valley Quilters. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Pauls Catholic Church at 10:30 am on Friday, February 20, 2009 with Rev. Greg Nelson officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm Thursday evening at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL. A Rosary Service will be held at 3:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the St. Pauls Catholic Church and Altar & Rosary Society and/or Heartspring.
