Marge Nelson Margaret Ann Nelson, 75 of Danville, Passed away Wednesday September 22, 2004 at Hoopeston Community Hospital. She was born May 17, 1929 to Albert and Alice Smith In San Diego, California. She had married Fred Eugene Nelson of Danville on December 11, 1944, he survives. This year will be their 60th wedding anniversary. Other survivors: brother Jack Smith of San Diego, Ca; Daughter-in-law Barb (Tom) Nelson of Gladstone, Mo.; Son and daughter-in-law Gary and Eloise Nelson of Hoopeston; grandchildren Debbie and Sam Miceli, Bradley and Andrea Nelson, and Bruce and Brooke Nelson of Kansas City, Mo.; Emily and Michael Reavey of Liberty, Mo., Kory and Tomoko Nelson of Warrenville, Adam Nelson and Jessica Gredy of Hoopeston, and Spencer Nelson of Hoopeston; Great Grandson Aiden Lorenzo Gredy Nelson. Her Parents, her sister Norma, son Tom, son and daughter in law Ron and Cindy Grandson Jonathon, and granddaughter Megan preceded her in death. Marge lived an active, family-oriented life. She was a founding member of the flying Shingles ski club, a little league mother, and member of the PTA. She was a member of The Vermilion Heights Christian Church where she has been a Sunday school teacher, youth group leader, choir director, and performed various other duties throughout her years. She retired from the Sunbeam bread company, was a gardener, and enjoyed square Dancing. Most of all Marge loved people. Her family and friends will miss her.
