Danville - Margaret "Mickie" Cozatt, 91, of Danville passed away peacefully on April 23, 2016 at 9:00 PM at her son Michael's home. She was born in Danville, IL on January 2, 1925 the daughter of Frank and Pearl (Stevens) Wilson. She married Perry C. Cozatt on August 18, 1946 at Central Christian Church in Danville, IL. Perry preceded her in death on January 3, 1986. Survivors include her son; Michael P Cozatt of Danville, IL, her daughter; Vicki (John) Martin of Fountain Hills, AZ, 5 Grandchildren; Christy Hughes, Jason Cozatt, Perry Cozatt, J.P. Martin, and Julie Shockley, 5 Great-Grandchildren; Lacey Clark, Caleb Cozatt, Kai Martin, June Shockley and Bennett Shockley. Margaret was preceded in death by her Parents; Frank and Pearl Stevens Wilson, Husband; Perry Cozatt, Twin Sister; Marjorie Atchison, Brother; Jack Wilson. Margaret worked at General Electric for over 20 years, retiring in 1984. Margaret and Perry were members of Danville Elks Lodge #332 for many years and she was a lifetime member of Central Christian Church in Danville, IL. "Mickie" was a very thoughtful, loving and caring person, who loved dancing with her husband, spending time with her twin sister, Margie, as well as entertaining family and friends. A Celebration of Life for Margaret will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 3:00 pm with Deann Anderson officiating at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, IL. Visitation will be held one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's memory to Transitions Hospice 12040 Raymond Court Huntley, IL 60142.
