Margaret Lape

Margaret D. Lape, 83, of West Palm Beach, FL., formerly of Danville passed away at 11 am Tuesday August 31, 2004 at Legacy House Hospice in Ocala, FL. Margaret was born July 14, 1921 in Danville the daughter of the late Pearl and Jennie Elizabeth (Coxon) Spickard. She married Wm N. Lape on July 17, 1939 in Covington, IN., and he preceded her in death. Survivors include 1 son Karl (Marcia) Lape of Ocala, FL., 1 brother Donald Spickard of Tilton and 1 sister Mary Reynolds of Tilton. 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 3 brothers and 5 sisters preceded her in death. Margaret grew up in Grape Creek and lived in Danville for 50 plus years before moving to Florida 30 years ago. She loved to grow her own roses and other types of flowers.
