Margaret L. Makemson 82 of Danville passed away at 8:57 pm Wednesday February 16, 2005 at Provena Logan Campus. She was born April 11, 1922 in Danville the daughter of William and Leta Olmstead Leverich. She married Hubert Makemson on March 24, 1946 in Danville he survives also one son Craig (Saundra Brooks) Makemson of Danville, two daughters Phyllis Myers and Joann (Michael) Puhr both of Danville, seven grandchildren Lucas Myers of Crawfordsville In, Ben (Cheri) Makemson of Rossville, Chris, Andrea and Andrew all of Danville, Stefanie Garrison of Danville and Beth (Phillip) Fuller of Danville, five great-grandchildren Tyler Garrison, Noah Wall, Rebekah Wall, Gauge Makemson and Lucinda Fuller. She was preceded by her parents, one daughter Marilyn Makemson, a son in law Robert Myers, a daughter in law Dianne Makemson and a great grandson Logan. Margaret worked at the Newport Ammunition plant during WW I I and later worked at the Second National Bank and Interstate Water Company and last worked at Walgreen's in Danville. She and her husband had attended Central Christian Church and was a member of the Ridgeview Baptist Church. She was an avid bridge player, enjoyed working crossword puzzles and loved to go shopping and to rummage sales. Margaret loved Cubs baseball, spending winters in Florida and having gatherings with her family and grandkids. She had also been a bowling instructor.
