Margaret Galyen

Margaret M. Galyen, 83, of Georgetown passed away at 4:30 p.m. Friday October 31, 2008 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born on January 23, 1925 in Cavour, S.D., the daughter of Herman and Bertha Meyer Moeller. She married Robert L. Galyen on September 26, 1944 in Rapid City, S.D. He preceded her in death on December 5, 1992. Survivors include: her two daughters, Sandra (Robert) Simmons of Crossville,Tenn. And Janice (Adan) Rodriguez of Arthur, IL; her grandchildren, Tony (Wendy) Rodriguez of Casey, IL, Mike (Zorayda) Rodriguez of Los Angeles, CA, Lisa (Kenneth) McClain of Rutledge, TN, Tom (Patty) Bonebrake of Portland, TN, and Tim (Michelle) Bonebrake of Sullivan, IL; nine great grandchildren; and her sisters, June Arbeiter of S.D. and Eva Beck of S.D. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, and one sister. Margaret was a member of the First Church of Christ in Georgetown. She was a Georgetown Twp. Trustee for many years.
