Margaret J. Frost, 93, of Danville, fell asleep into death at 3:08 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. Margaret was born on April 4, 1913 in Newton, Illinois, the daughter of Edgar and Ora I. (Whitehurst) Foltz. She married George E. Miller on 1933 in Danville. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1959. She later married Herschel Frost in 1961 in Danville. He preceded her in death on 1986. Margaret is survived by her one son- G. Ed (Barbara) Miller of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one daughter- Patricia (Randy Joe) Cummings of Danville; 10 grandchildren- Douglas E. Miller of Defiance, Ohio, Theresa Skinner of Florida, Scott Miller of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Greg Miller of Hawaii, Jeff Miller of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, DeeDee Lerew of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, S. Todd Cummings of Danville, Nicole Wells of Danville, Amy Harris of Pengree, Illinois, and Matt Cummings of Danville; several great-grandchildren and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one son- James A. Miller, one sister- Audrey L. Foltz, and one brother- Boyce Foltz. Margaret worked for several years at G.E. as a line worker. After marrying Herschel in 1961 she decided to retire. She was affiliated with the Jehovah Witnesses since 1927. She was baptized in 1939. Her passion was working in the ministry. She loved helping people and always had a smile on her face. She loved to be around her family and her friends. She was very good at cooking and baking. She enjoyed spending her time sewing. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and Illini fan. A Tribute to the Life of Margaret J. Frost will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2007 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 619 E. Voorhees St. Danville, Il, with Robert Taylor officiating the service.
