Margaret E. Huffman

Covington, Ind. - Margaret E. Huffman, 88, of Covington, passed away at 6:05 p.m. EST Saturday, January 9, 2016 at The Waters of Covington. She was born July 12, 1927 in Veedersburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late James Barton and Ruby (Roman) Graham. Margaret first married the late Leon Babb. She later married Russell E. Huffman on August 24, 1984 in Covington, Indiana. He preceded her in death on July 11, 2007. Survivors include her daughter, Janice Wise of Veedersburg, Indiana, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by two brothers. Margaret worked for 11 years at the former Covington Lumber Company as a bookkeeper. She also took care of elderly people at their home. Margaret was a life long member of the First Assembly of God Church in Covington. Margaret was a 1945 graduate of Covington High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her many grandchildren. Cremation was accorded with services to be annouced at a later date. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana assisted the family with arrangements.
