Margaret Bracewell

Margaret E. Peggy Bracewell, age 78, of Danville, passed away at 3:00 am on Friday, August 7, 2009 at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home in Danville. She was born October 16, 1930 in Danville the daughter of William and Ruth (Willard) Fetters. Peggy married James Bracewell on September 6, 1959 in Catlin, IL. He survives. She is also survived by one sister: Emma Brandenburg of Hoopeston; four brothers: Charles Fetters of Charlotte, NC, Kenneth Fetters of Catlin, IL, Walter Fetters of Anderson, SC, Butch Fetters of Danville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother: Gene and one sister: Opal. Peggy was a graduate of Danville High School in 1949. She had worked for Chuckles Candy Company for 35 years and retired on June 30, 1980 due to an illness she had dealt with for many years. She was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Church in Danville. Peggy enjoyed helping others and listening to the lonely on the phone. A public visitation for Peggy will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Monday, August 10, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home in Danville. A private family service will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Park.
